What we do
Accessibility commitment. Balaji Horizon Women’s Hospital is committed to making this website usable for the widest possible audience — including patients using assistive technology. We follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our target. Where any element of the site falls short of that standard, we want to know.
Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy · skip-to-content link · alternative text on meaningful images · keyboard-navigable interfaces · sufficient colour contrast on body text · mobile-first responsive layout · language attribute on the document · ARIA labels on icon buttons · clear focus indicators on interactive elements.
Known limitations
Some legacy template-injected images carry decorative empty alt attributes. PDF documents may not always be fully accessible. Video content does not currently have transcripts. We are working to address each of these as part of our ongoing improvement.
How to report an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier when using this site — whether you use a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, magnification, or any other adaptation — please contact us. We will respond within 5 working days and work to resolve it.
