WHY WE PUBLISH

Documenting our work, openly

Publishing case reports and operative videos is part of how we hold our own practice to account. It invites peer scrutiny, contributes to the shared evidence base, and keeps our reasoning transparent. We favour work that reflects our clinical philosophy — fertility-preserving surgery, careful diagnosis, and individualised decision-making — rather than volume for its own sake.

The record below is deliberately conservative: only verifiable, primary-source work is listed here. A fuller academic CV, including faculty roles, conference participation, and continuing medical education, is maintained separately.

A peer-reviewed operative video published on WebSurg, the surgical education platform of IRCAD (Strasbourg), demonstrating a fertility-preserving approach to adnexal torsion — detorsion with tube-sparing bilateral ovarian plication to reduce the risk of recurrent torsion while protecting the ovary and fallopian tube.

The video was recognised by Professor Jacques Marescaux, President and Founder of IRCAD, for its educational contribution to surgical training.

Societies, guidelines & peer learning

Professional societies: IAGE (Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists), AICOG (All India Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology), and engagement with international bodies — ESHRE, ESGE, AAGL and ASRM.

Practice is kept current through structured continuing medical education, surgical-video and case-based peer review, and active integration of contemporary guidance — for example the ESHRE Endometriosis (2022), Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (2022) and Unexplained Infertility (2023) guidelines — within the Indian regulatory framework (ICMR ART Act 2021 & Rules 2022). Complex cases are managed through multidisciplinary collaboration with colorectal surgery, urology, fetal medicine, pain medicine and clinical genetics.
