Egg freezing vs embryo freezing
Both preserve fertility by vitrification — the difference is whether eggs are fertilised before freezing.

Is egg freezing worth considering for you?
Egg (oocyte) freezing is an established, no-longer-experimental option (ASRM). The single biggest factor in its success is the age at which eggs are frozen. This is education to bring to a consultation.
Frequently asked questions
What age is best to freeze eggs?
Results are most favourable when eggs are frozen before about 35, because fewer eggs and cycles are needed for a reasonable chance of a future live birth. The chance declines progressively after 35 and more steeply after 40. Egg freezing is not a guarantee of a future pregnancy, and the right timing is an individual decision.
How long can frozen eggs be stored?
Vitrified eggs survive thawing well, and the length of storage does not appear to affect outcomes. In India, storage periods are governed by the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021; we explain the current rules at consultation.
What is the realistic cost of one freezing cycle?
It depends on the medication dose you need, how many cycles are advisable and how long the eggs are stored, so we do not quote a headline figure. We give you an individual plan and estimate privately at consultation.
